Terms of Service

Welcome to verdict.fit. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. verdict.fit is operated by David Ramirez, based in Mexico.

1. The Service

verdict.fit is a personal fashion shopping assistant. Users upload screenshots of clothing listings and receive AI-generated fit and pricing analysis based on their provided size profile. Currently, the service operates on an invite-only basis.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • Authentication: We use passwordless email magic links. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account. Any actions taken through a magic link sent to your email are assumed to be authorized by you.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate body measurements and size profiles. Inaccurate data will result in poor or incorrect AI analysis.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use verdict.fit to:

  • Upload inappropriate, explicit, or non-clothing-related images.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of third parties (e.g., uploading copyrighted material for purposes outside of personal shopping analysis).
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse our platform or the underlying AI APIs.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

4. AI Disclaimer (No Professional Advice)

The outputs provided by verdict.fit, including fit assessments and pricing evaluations, are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended as suggestions only.

  • We cannot guarantee that a garment will fit you perfectly based on the AI's analysis.
  • Pricing analyses are estimates and do not constitute financial advice.
  • You are solely responsible for any purchasing decisions you make based on the information provided by verdict.fit.

5. Credits and Payments

  • Credits: verdict.fit uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use the service (e.g., running an analysis). The credit cost per action is displayed before purchase.
  • Purchases: Credits are purchased in packs via Stripe. All payments are processed securely and we do not store your payment information on our servers.
  • No expiry: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • No refunds: Unless otherwise required by applicable law, purchased credits are non-refundable. If you believe there has been a billing error, please contact us at hello@verdict.fit.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the screenshots and data you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a temporary license to process them via our third-party AI partners solely to provide the service to you.
  • Our IP: The verdict.fit application, design, logo, code, and proprietary algorithms are the intellectual property of David Ramirez and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in any activity that harms other users or the integrity of the platform. In the event of termination for cause, unused credits will not be refunded.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@verdict.fit. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, verdict.fit and its operator (David Ramirez) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.
  • Any purchasing decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions.
  • Any unauthorized access to our servers and/or your personal information.

The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Mexico.
